There’s something magical about this time of year that takes us back – the smell of “Pujo” somehow evident in the air, the bamboo structures standing tall in every alley corner getting wrapped in bundles of fabric, the hustle and bustle of the bazars bursting with people and the scent of new. With only few weeks to go, we are on our last stretch of preparations to welcome you. We sincerely hope you can join in and be part of this celebration of our community.

Besides Kinjal, Lagnajita and other guest performers, this year we'll also have great talents of the valley performing during Durga Puja.
Onyo Durga (Fri Sep 22, 8:45 PM): Our first program of the event, Maa Durga - a contrast of imagination and reality. A unique ensemble of dance, music, instrumental and recitation directed by Arijit Bal.
Elen Ma VBC Te (Sat Sep 23, 3:00 PM): Ma Durga and her family after coming to VBC got upset that kids are busy with digital media like phones, tablets instead of doing her pujo. But our kids are very smart and know the tricks to please Ma Durga.
Come and watch how our kids did that and enjoy the dance and music through our program “Elen Ma VBC Te”. Directed by Chandana Sarkar.
Sanskritir Dosh Rup (Sat Sep 23, 4:15 PM): Team Avatar, consisting of talents from Valley will present "সংস্কৃতির দশ রূপ" (Ten Manifestations of Cultural Art), a musical drama, that will demonstrate the diversity of cultural taste through hysterical conversation, melodious music and gracious dances and eventually take everyone to the nostalgic childhood memories. Directed by Mrinmoy Saha. View Flyer
Ronochondikaa (Sat Sep 23, 5:50 PM): Presented by one of our young talents in the Valley, Aritree Bal. Choreography by Guru Anjani Ambegaokar and Smt. Amrapali Ambegaokar.
